Legend has it that Porter’s mom gave him a peanut butter sandwich every day (no whiskey added).

Spiced rye
After the success of Porter’s (flavor) Whiskeys, overwhelming requests came from consumers for a straight whiskey. A 95/5 blend of rye and barley at 111 proof is aged in heavy charred, new oak barrels over three years. It is then blended down to 90 proof with the spring water from the Wasatch Mountains in the Ogden Valley. This intricate process creates our limited production straight rye whiskey.
